R12.1 test-upgrade

1. Follow Oracle document: E14010-01,
which describes the necessary step for upgrading to R12.1
2. Download TUMS patch: 7705743, and derive what the output ”tumsr12.html” what steps that need NOT to be taken!
3. Download patch 7197489 (which is the latest OATM patch), and decide whether OATM has been applied as should be!
4. Gather Statistics before upgrade run.
5. Download all software from http://edelivery.oracle.com E-Business 12.1 version....
6. Failed once again on the ”Completed unzip 1129 of 1201” .... Will download the latest version of Rapidwiz, patch 8626041
he-he was not the reason... although ”df -k” seemed ok... reason was that the number of inodes was 100% full!!!! Something to check for in the future!
7. After having gotten enough space(including inodes) we go on the real work.....
7.1 Enable "maintenance mode" through adadmin
7.2 Copy the "adgrants.sql" from the 7461070 directory to the RDBMS $ORACLE_HOME/appsutil/admin, and run it doing: "sqlplus -s /nolog @adgrants apps"
7.2 Apply patch 7461070 in the new 12.1 structure.... After doing various bit and pieces... do read the "README.txt" in the patch directory!
Takes about 30 minutes.....
7.3 Apply patch 6678700 from the $AU_TOP/patch/115/driver doing: "adpatch options=nocopyportion,nogenerateportion driver=u6678700.drv
Start 10:52 end: 18:03
due to fem3979590_upd(arhdelmn.sql) which did not any error... but stopped nonetheless, workers needs to get restarted....
Restarted: 09:00 end: Thursday the 19. Nov 03:00
Ended because the "SYSTEM" datafiles were not set to "autoextend".... doing a "alter database datafile xxx autoextend on' solves the problem....
7.4 The postinstall checks indicate that the Login page shows a "was not created".... see Oracle Support Note: Login Page Was Not Created RW-50016: Error [ID 889031.1]
